Paris is also making big steps towards a car-free center with Paris Respire (Paris breathes). Every first Sunday of the week certain districts become car-free. On the 18th of September they organised the 8th edition of the ‘Day of Paris Respire’, a day where the complete territory becomes free of motorized vehicles.
